COVID-19: Patient and Employee Safety

To Our Valued Patients:

Our hearts go out to all who have been affected by the outbreak of COVID-19.

As we all try to ease into the new normal, our office has reopened on a limited schedule, to adhere to social distancing. We plan to slowly increase appointment availability. You can book an appointment online. At this time, we offer both in person and virtual / online visits.

While we have always prioritized office sterility, we plan to increase our safety and hygiene precautions to ensure our patient and staff safety during this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue monitor developments and provide updates as the situation evolves.

Actions to ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff

As precautionary measures to provide a safe environment for our patients and staff, we are adding supplementary procedures in our office, which include:

      • All patients are screened at the time of scheduling and before entering the office (via telephone) for any symptoms related to COVID-19. All of our staff are screened before the start of each day as well. Anyone that pose additional risk of exposure will be rescheduled.
      • All efforts are being made to encourage tele-health visits in lieu of in-person appointments.
      • Additional signage has been added outside the clinic location denying access to anyone with known or suspected exposure to COVID-19 or with any symptoms.
      • All persons entering the clinic, including staff must wear a mask or face covering.
      • Education has been completed for all of our staff including COVID-19 symptoms, sanitation protocols,  social distancing, hand washing and measures to decrease the spread of coronavirus. Our staff is educated regularly with any protocols as they evolve in reflection of state and federal legislation.
      • Check-in materials including consent forms will be sent to the patient in advance of their scheduled appointment. An email with a link to our patient portal (called Sadio) will be sent to the patient at the time the appointment is scheduled.
      • Guests/family of patients should remain at home or in the car. Children under the age of 18 should be accompanied by 1 parent.
      • Magazines, samples, and brochures have been removed.
      • Each patient should use hand sanitizer or hand washing on entering the clinic.
      • Patients will be directed immediately to an exam room to avoid use of any common areas.
      • Exam rooms are thoroughly sanitized between each patient encounter including all common surfaces like door handles and light switches.
      • Ipads and high touch surfaces including writing instruments are cleaned between every patient.
